This page contains all of the information that I have for countries that don't yet have enough information for their own pages. There are some charts, and some sales figures.
Brazil sales are courtesy of Michael Hartmann as is most of the Abba Gold information from around the world. Hungary information and Czech chart runs thanks to Tino Bensen, with additional Hungary information from Toby Petterson and Walter Alfonso Morales Castañeda. Singapore courtesy of Neil Barber, Poland courtesy of Colin Hughes. Poland accreditation for ABBA from John Boylan, explanation of the accreditations and all others thanks to Tomasz Wysocki. Hungary Fernando via Carl Magnus Palm. Portugal The Visitors via Ján Havran.
International albums have rarely been released when Poland was a communist country. Since 1995, a unified certification programme exists and the official sales chart was established from October 2000.
In the 1970s, you needed to sell 250,000 copies to be certified gold. With the economic crisis of the 1980s and in the early days of the transformation in the 1990s the amount decreased to 100,000. From the late 1990s gold meant 50,000 copies. These days it's a mix of streaming and sales, though for international artists the bar has been lowered even more to just 10,000 copies sold or circa PLN 200,000 (circa EUR 44,000) of total income (it is double that for local artists). Platinum is obviously double the amount of gold.
